June 19, 1935 – November 21, 2021
June and Al moved to Hawaiian islands in 1965 making their home on the island of Oahu where they lived for more than 40 years returning to the mainland in 2006 Mesa AZ became their new residence.
Through the years her creativity and love of crafts often meant a special gift made from the heart was coming your way. June’s love for animals resulted in many well cared for and spoiled pets throughout her life most recently of rescue cat she named lucky provided her with much joy during her illness .
June accepted her diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease without self pity she continued to keep her mind alert for as long as possible she and Al played a hand of cards daily and with his assistance continued until recently. Al being her sole caretaker treated her like a queen which was her nickname given to her long ago.
Life is not about how high you jump or how high you climb but how well you bounce, June always knew how to bounce. June never acquired her driver’s license she enjoyed a road trip she and Al traveled all 50 states along with trips to Canada, Mexico and Pacific islands.
She is survived by her husband, Albert Ripani, and her large extended family.
