On January 8, 2025, the world lost a good man. Gerald Michael Klein, Gerry as he is known, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer in Chandler, Arizona.

Gerry lived in Queen Creek, Arizona. He was born November 14, 1954, to Leonard and Adeline Klein in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. He was their sixth child.  The family lived in Chilton, WI where Gerry attended school. He was a member of the 1973 class of Chilton High.

In 1980, Gerry moved to Arizona where he worked for over 30 years building municipal water storage for Aquastore Southwest and later Engineering America. After retirement he had his own handyman business.

Gerry’s hobbies included woodworking, collecting HO trains, and riding motorcycles.  He could fix or build just about anything from ink pens, bowls, furniture, houses and even a bridge. He loved riding his motorcycle. In 2023 he completed a bucket list trip of riding to Alaska.

In 1985, Gerry and Michele Scroggins were married. He died four days short of their 40th wedding anniversary.

Gerry is survived by his wife, Michele; brothers Richard (Dee) and Tom (Mary); sisters Louise Raube (Dennis) and Gail Schommer (Bernie); and many nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Jim Klein, LeRoy Klein, and nephew Len Klein.
