The J.O. Combs Unified School District has modified start times for all elementary schools this 2023-2024 school year, which begins Monday, July 24.
These changes will allow the San Tan Valley school district to minimize transportation disruptions and continue to service all current bus routes despite staffing challenges with bus drivers.
Start times have been modified to reflect 15 minutes earlier or later depending on the school site.
Combs Traditional Academy, Ellsworth Elementary School, Simonton Elementary School:
- Office hours from 7:15 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.
- School hours from 8 a.m. to 2:50 p.m.
- Wednesday early release, 8 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
Ranch Elementary School, Harmon Elementary School:
- Office hours from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- School hours from 8:30 a.m. to 3:20 p.m.
- Wednesday early release, 8:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.
Before and after school programs at Ellsworth Elementary, Harmon Elementary, Combs Traditional Academy and Ranch Elementary will continue to be available beginning at 6:30 a.m. and ending at 6 p.m. daily. Rates for these programs will remain the same.
