J.O. Combs Unified School District’s Erica Delgado elected vice president of Transportation Administrators of Arizona Executive Board

In June 2024, following the annual TA Summer Conference, J.O. Combs Unified School District’s Erica Delgado was elected by her peers to serve as the Vice President of the Transportation Administrators of Arizona (TAA) Executive Board.

The TAA has been a cornerstone of support for Arizona’s student transportation since 1981. Over the years, it has grown significantly, expanding its membership, enhancing content offerings, and fostering vendor partnerships and industry resources.

The organization is dedicated to supporting transportation departments across all Arizona school districts, offering regionally focused learning throughout the year for diverse areas and demographics.

The work of the TAA is spearheaded by an Executive Board of 10 members, each nominated and voted in by their industry peers to serve a two-year term. The board plays a crucial role in organizing, supporting, and collaborating on up-to-date laws, industry topics, and transportation solutions for its 400+ members.

Erica Delgado has been an active participant in TAA conferences for several years and has contributed to various aspects of student transportation. Known for her knowledge, positive outlook, and willingness to help, Erica is a valuable asset to Arizona’s student transportation community. Her election to the Executive Board signifies a continued commitment to advancing the state’s transportation systems.

Erica’s leadership and expertise will no doubt serve the Arizona transportation community well as she takes on this important role, according to the district.
