The completion of Painted Sky Park was celebrated on Monday, Aug. 19 with a ribbon cutting ceremony attended by key project partners, city officials and local stakeholders.

Approved by the Arizona State Board of Nursing and the Higher Learning Commission, the Fast Track Practical Nursing program provides students with the theory and skills required to be a practical nurse.

As the recreation manager, Erica Perez oversees the recreation division including special events and programming. She has been active in the recent opening of Frontier Family Park and the town’s first Recreation and Aquatic Center, slated to open in 2025.

This season is curated by Mary-Beth Buesgen, the museum’s new curator, and highlights artists who explore how fiber art can reveal invisible stories through wearable art, fashion, crafted textiles and innovative materials.

The Hunger Action Month volunteer day will be held on Sept. 28 from 9 to 11 a.m. and is open to all ages. United Food Bank hosts regular volunteer sessions year-round and is looking for volunteers to help provide 300,000 pounds of food per week to families in need. 

The survey results will be used to prepare recommendations, which will be incorporated into the Town of Queen Creek’s updated Transportation Master Plan.

This musical is not the everyday rendition of the classic tale of "Sleepy Hollow," making it the perfect production to kick off EVCT’s 28th season.

The league begins the week of Oct. 14 and includes seven doubleheaders, followed by a single elimination tournament.
