The annual OktoberWest is bringing its country-western flair to the Westin Kierland Resort this weekend with headliners Caylee Hammack and Southern Ways taking the stage as guests hit the dance floor.
As part of the Kierland After Dark series, this “one-of-a-kind extravaganza promises to captivate your senses and keep you two-stepping, boot-scootin’ and boogie-in’ deep into the night" at the Kierland Ballroom from 7 to 11 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21.
Guests get to enjoy everything from beer, bourbon and crafted cocktails to go along with their delicious barbecue dishes. There will be a bourbon-tasting station, mechanical bull, photo booth, corn hole and DJs filling the Kierland Ballroom with country music until the headliners take over.
It wouldn’t be an authentic country-western event without some line dancing. Whether patrons are seasoned pros or completely new to line dancing everyone is invited to hit the dance floor. Jump right in or join one of their line dance lessons.
The $65 tickets can be purchased online at kierlandafterdark.com/upcoming-events/oktoberwest.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Scottsdale Charros, an all-volunteer, nonprofit group. Since 1961, the Scottsdale Charros group of business and civic leaders have helped build up the local community by supporting youth sports, education and charitable causes.
By attending OktoberWest, presented by Kierland Master Association in collaboration with the Westin Kierland Resort and Kierland Commons, patrons are making a direct impact and giving back to the community.
For guests looking for a full weekend staycation, the resort is offering an OktoberWest package. The package comes with a room reservation and two tickets to the festival.
The Westin Kierland Resort is located at 6902 E. Greenway Parkway in Scottsdale.
