The Arizona Animal Welfare League (AAWL), Arizona’s oldest and largest no-kill shelter, is thrilled to announce that its 26th annual Walk to Save Animals will take place on Saturday, Nov. 2 at Tempe Beach Park from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m.

This is AAWL’s largest fundraiser of the year and “Arizona’s best attended dog walk,” raising funds to help vulnerable animals throughout the state.

“Each year, the Walk to Save Animals brings together a community of dedicated animal lovers to support a worthy cause,” said Alessandra Navidad, CEO of AAWL. “AAWL relies upon the support and generosity of our community and this event enables us to continue to provide life-saving programs like adoptions, low-cost preventative wellness services at our community vet clinic, rural rescue efforts, behavioral training courses, and more.”

Registration is $25, per participant, and the first 1,500 walkers will receive a limited-edition AAWL t-shirt to commemorate the event. The event will feature pet-friendly activities including a clinic corner with pet health supplies, a play zone, dog training demonstrations, on-site adoption center, local vendors, food trucks, and more. Tom Fergus from Fox 10 Phoenix will return as emcee for this year’s event.
