Queen Creek High culinary students work Harvest Moon Feast

Queen Creek High School was paired with mentor Chef Elizabeth Meinz, resident chef at Maya Farm in Phoenix, to help prepare and serve at the event for more than 300 guests at Tarbell's Restaurant in downtown Phoenix.

Students Sara Bohart and Kevin Fackrell worked the Harvest Moon Feast last month, an event sponsored by the Careers through Culinary Arts Program.

Queen Creek High School was paired with mentor Chef Elizabeth Meinz, resident chef at Maya Farm in Phoenix, to help prepare and serve at the Oct. 20 event for more than 300 guests at Tarbell's Restaurant in downtown Phoenix. The team served Bohart's Impossible Musubi - a family recipe that earned her third place in an Impossible Cooking Challenge - and a dessert at the event.
