Barrett-Jackson collector car auctions has announced that multi-platinum rock band Night Ranger will open for Foreigner at Barrett-Jackson’s inaugural “Rock the Block” this Friday, Jan. 19 at WestWorld of Scottsdale.
For the first time in its storied history, Barrett-Jackson will host this opening-night concert, infusing the excitement of live music into the electrifying week-long automotive lifestyle celebration, adding a dynamic new dimension to the renowned event. Tickets for “Rock the Block” start at $59 and are available online at Barrett-Jackson.com.

Night Ranger have earned widespread recognition that includes both multi-platinum and gold status with a long list of best-selling albums including Dawn Patrol, Midnight Madness, 7 Wishes, Big Life and Man in Motion. Their popularity is fueled by an impressive collection of instantly recognizable hit singles and signature classics such as “Sister Christian,” “(You Can Still) Rock in America” and “Don’t Tell Me You Love Me” among many others.
The band that makes up Night Ranger is Jack Blades (bass, vocals), Kelly Keagy (drums, vocals), Brad Gillis (lead & rhythm guitars), Eric Levy (keyboards) and Keri Kelli (lead and rhythm guitars).
Following the “Rock the Block” concert featuring Foreigner and Night Ranger, Barrett-Jackson’s flagship 2024 Scottsdale auction will begin on Saturday, Jan. 20 and will go through Sunday, Jan. 28. Featuring approximately 2,000 collectible cars, trucks and SUVs, the prominent event serves as the epicenter of the automotive universe every January. In addition to the exhilarating action where hundreds of world auction records are set every year, the automotive lifestyle event also features hundreds of sponsor and exhibitor displays, Hot Laps and Thrill Rides with leading automotive manufacturers, off-road experiences, driving experiences in some of the market’s latest vehicles and live music throughout the week.
The first weekend also kicks off with QuikTrip Family Day on Jan. 20 when children 12 and under receive free admission with an accompanying adult. Family Day will also feature STEM Fest presented by Honeywell and the introduction of all 50 contenders for the esteemed custom car competition, the Barrett-Jackson Cup presented by Castrol. Sunday, Jan. 21 will also feature the second installment of the Future Collector Car Show presented by Meguiar’s at Barrett-Jackson. A family-friendly concours-style event, the FCCS will feature vehicles that best represent the future of the collector car hobby, with the goal of celebrating the cars we love today and the future collectibles of tomorrow.
