The Maricopa County Home & Garden Show, the largest and longest-running event of its kind in the Southwest, is back at the Arizona State Fairgrounds from Friday, Jan. 10, to Sunday, Jan. 12. The event promises over 450,000 square feet of home improvement exhibits, workshops, and activities—all for just $5 admission.
“This premier home show is a celebration of community and creativity,” said Katie Jones, show manager. “With new attractions like the electric vehicle showcase and returning favorites such as tiny homes, the Taste of the Desert, and the Kids’ Corner, there’s truly something for everyone.”
Highlights of the Show
Visitors can explore a wide variety of attractions, free with admission:
- Gardening Workshops: Learn techniques for planting and caring for medicinal herbs, arranging bouquets, and creating custom soil blends.
- Tiny Homes: Tour a collection of innovative tiny homes, including a 3D-printed model and a refurbished modern home crafted with donated materials.
- Taste of the Desert: Enjoy culinary experiences, complimentary food and drink samples, and live music in an 18,000-square-foot space.
- Handmade Headquarters: Participate in free craft workshops to create custom magnets, necklaces, coasters, and more.
- Educational Seminars: Topics include electric vehicle basics, tree care, and home remodeling tips.
- Kids’ Corner: Family-friendly craft workshops, magic lessons, and interactive plant projects for children ages 4-12.
- Plant Pavilion: Browse a lush selection of houseplants, exotic botanicals, and two full-sized greenhouses.

- General Admission: $5 daily for adults, $2 for children ages 0-12.
- Parking: $12 per vehicle with complimentary shuttle service.

- Free Admission: Friday and Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m.
