The WM Phoenix Open, renowned as "The People's Open," is set to return to TPC Scottsdale from Feb. 3-9, marking its 90th anniversary. Organizers have announced several enhancements aimed at improving the fan experience and maintaining the event's status as one of the premier stops on the PGA TOUR.

To accommodate increasing attendance, a second entrance will be introduced, facilitating better crowd flow and reducing wait times. Additionally, the tournament is transitioning to a digital-only ticketing platform for general admission, streamlining entry and enhancing security. Spectators can also look forward to enhanced walking areas and upgraded venues throughout the course.

Star-Studded entertainment lineup

The 2025 Coors Light Birds Nest, the tournament's official afterparty, boasts a lineup of acclaimed artists. Diamond-certified Canadian rock band Nickelback is set to headline on Friday, Feb. 7, with opening performer Josh Ross. Additionally, legendary house supergroup Swedish House Mafia will make their first appearance at the event, headlining the final night.

Adding to the entertainment, country music stars Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are scheduled to perform at the iconic 16th hole as part of the "Concert in the Coliseum," now in its fourth year. This performance is anticipated to be a highlight of the tournament week.

Event schedule, charitable impact

The WM Phoenix Open, organized by The Thunderbirds, has a longstanding tradition of supporting Arizona charities. To date, the tournament has raised more than $208 million, with the 2024 event alone contributing a record $17.5 million. Proceeds from the 2025 tournament will continue to benefit local nonprofit organizations.

The tournament week will commence with practice rounds on Feb. 3-4, followed by the Annexus Pro-Am on Feb. 5. Competitive play begins on Feb. 6, culminating with the final round on Feb. 9. In addition to golf, attendees can enjoy various events, including the Tee-Off Luncheon and the Coors Light Birds Nest concerts each evening.
