Friend in need: Waco survived malnourishment, ready to play in forever home

When Waco first arrived at AAWL, he was shy and timid, but thanks to the love and care of the staff members, he quickly warmed up to them and showed his love for toys. He is good with both cats and dogs and has won over his foster sibling. Waco's confidence and energy grow every day.

Waco is a 1-year-old playful puppy from Arizona Animal Welfare League (AAWL) recently out of medical intake and ready for adoption.

After receiving care from AAWL's veterinary staff for malnourishment, hair loss and a limp, he is now thriving in a foster home. Waco's evolved from a shy and timid puppy to a sweet buddy who loves belly rubs, ball time and stuffed animals.
