Celebrate Queen Creek’s 35th anniversary by highlighting your neighbors

Whether it's coordinating a neighborhood donation drive, organizing meals and support for a family or individual in need or beautifying the streets with a clean-up effort, there are countless ways to be QC Neighborly.

It’s a beautiful day in "the QC" and a great time to highlight your neighborhood.

Incorporated on Sept. 5, 1989, the town celebrates QC Neighborly Week each September. In honor of the town's 35th anniversary, one neighborhood will be selected to receive the QC Neighborly Award to recognize their efforts to be QC Neighborly.

Whether it's coordinating a neighborhood donation drive, organizing meals and support for a family or individual in need or beautifying the streets with a clean-up effort, there are countless ways to be QC Neighborly.

Neighborhoods that submit entries to the award program and meet the eligibility requirements will be shared on Nextdoor for resident consideration. While all neighborly efforts are encouraged, award eligibility includes activities that occurred between Jan. 1 and Sept. 23.

“As a growing community it is so important that we continue to celebrate the amazing people that make Queen Creek so incredible,” said Queen Creek Mayor Wheatley. “I absolutely love this town and hear so many stories of people being neighborly – we want to celebrate and share those stories.”
