The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) has been making progress with the ongoing I-10 Broadway Curve Improvement Project that has resulted in many weekend freeway closures this year. ADOT crews working during a recent weekend full closure of westbound Interstate 10 placed new rubberized asphalt pavement between Loop 202 (Santan/South Mountain Freeway) and US 60. A total of 1.25 miles of new asphalt pavement was placed and re-striped over that weekend.Source: Arizona Department of Transportation
