Local brewery PHX Beer Co. will can its second round of the limited edition Shazaam! Valley Style IPA beer – a design inspired by the vintage 1973 Sun’s jerseys and a nod to Al McCoy and his retirement on Thursday, May 4.
The first round of Shazaam! cans sold out in 45 minutes, so they are rolling out round two for the second round of NBA playoffs. The new can design will be white, a tribute to the vintage home jerseys.
The beer can will be filled with the award-winning Monsoon IPA. It will be available for purchase at both the downtown taproom and Scottsdale restaurant at noon on Friday, May 5, just in time for the Sun’s first home game of the second round.
