Trader Joe’s came to town just over a year ago.
The grocer opened on Oct. 16, 2020 and there are currently 50 employees.
Tara Miller, vice president of marketing and communication for Trader Joe’s, said they chose to open a store in Queen Creek because of the people.
“As is the case with every Trader Joe’s location, there are a number of factors that go into the decision to open a store in a specific location. Ultimately, we chose to open in Queen Creek because it’s a place filled with curious and adventurous people who are interested in all kinds of food and beverages,” Miller said.
Trader Joe’s Queen Creek is located at 21186 S. Ellsworth Loop Road.
