Family owned and operated Valley Family Chiropractic celebrated its grand opening Dec. 8 with a Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting event.
“We’re looking forward to serving everyone in the community," said Valley Family Chiropractic owner, Dr. Wes McDermott. "We are here to help as many families as possible in the East Valley through natural healing and natural chiropractic care.”
At Valley Family Chiropractic, McDermott focuses on the nervous system because he says it dictates the body’s daily function and capabilities. He specializes in pediatric and prenatal care as well as family wellness through natural healing and specific nervous system chiropractic adjustments.

He added that he "started to notice the benefits of chiropractic in his own body" while in chiropractic school. McDermott said his headaches started to go away and eventually never came back. He also noticed his quality of sleep and clarity of thought started to improve.
McDermott is married to his wife, Hannah, and has a young toddler, Kainan. After working with his wife during and after pregnancy as well as with his son as he grows, McDermott has become more and more passionate about prenatal and pediatric chiropractic. He is certified in the Webster technique, which is the main technique utilized for pregnancy. McDermott is also a member of pediatric chiropractic-focused groups such as the ICPA and Pediatric Experience.
