Beloved son, brother, father and grandfather James (Jimmy) A. Kobie Jr. was born January 7, 1968 and went to be with the Lord unexpectedly on the morning of Wednesday, November 6, 2024.
He is survived by his parents James Sr. and Dawn Kobie, brother and sister-in-law Jeffrey and Rana Kobie, his daughter Laurin Bond and grand daughter Kennedy Bond and many other family and friends that loved and cherished him.
Jimmy graduated from Mountain View high school in Mesa, AZ where he competed on the tennis team. After he graduated in 1986, he attended ASU desiring a business degree. His love for tennis continued and while attending ASU also worked and competed in tournaments with Mesa Parks Tennis Club. He then went on to work in finance at Bank One, Chase Bank and other financial institutions.
His love and commitment to his family and faith in Lord made Jimmy an amazing person. His sense of humor and outgoing personality made him a joy and pleasure to be around. He was deeply loved and treasured and will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all that had the privilege to know him.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11am, Friday, November 22, 2024 at Mountain View Funeral Home and Cemetery located at 7900 E. Main St., Mesa, Arizona 85207.
