Whatever haunts you decide to explore this Halloween season, remember to have fun, be safe and have a very happy Halloween.

Halloween is quickly approaching and the Valley is welcoming back some of its most loved trick-or-treat experiences while introducing new family-friendly attractions. If you’re looking for a new Halloween tradition or frightfully fun adventure, check out some of the most anticipated events of the fall below.

Halloween at Candytopia

Candytopia, located at Scottsdale Fashion Square, has hosted hundreds of families since opening in July. Now, the 11,000 square foot interactive experience is transforming from a candy wonderland to a Halloween spectacular.

With interactive exhibits around every corner, from candy sculptures to a marshmallow ball pit filled with a quarter-million “marshmallows," and now with the addition of Halloween décor, spooktacular songs and Candy Creation stations, this experience has something for everyone.

Guests of all ages will be able to trick-or-treat in each of the 11 different environments and collect sweet treats throughout the experience, and guests under age 15 will receive a bag to collect their favorite candies for trick-or-treating fun all month long!

Guests are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes any day of Halloween season, and those who do will have a chance to Spin to Win exciting Candytopia giveaway prizes.

Every day there will be special surprises and premium trick-or-treat candies to celebrate the Halloween season. In addition to enjoying festive trick-or-treating, the newly minted Candy Creation Station will give guests the opportunity to get hands-on creating some delicious candy crafts.

Glowing Pumpkins: A Phoenix Jack-o-Lantern Adventure

If you’re looking forward to spending time outdoors this fall, Glowing Pumpkins in Chandler is the perfect event. This outdoor Halloween pumpkin walk through showcases more than 5,000 intricately carved jack-o-lanterns within a mile radius. The pumpkin artwork consists of spooky characters, superheroes, pop icons and more.

Through the pumpkin pathway, guests will enjoy unique visual displays paired with fun music, along with delicious food and drinks. This event is family-friendly and welcomes people of all ages to check out the exceptional pumpkin carvings.

The Glowing Pumpkins Jack-o-Lantern Adventure will be open from Friday, Sept. 20 through Sunday, Nov. 2.

Spooktacular Hot Air Balloon Festival

Salt River Fields is hosting the Spooktacular Hot Air Balloon Festival where guests can trick-or-treat at each of the 20 hot air balloons. With 4,000 pounds of candy nightly, your sweet tooth is sure to be satisfied during the three-day festival.

The festival will begin on Friday, Oct. 25 and run through Sunday, Oct. 27. Each night the festival will start at 5 p.m. and end at 9 p.m.

In addition to the impressive hot air ballons, there will be nightly costume contests for both adults and kids, inflatables, obstacle courses, bouncy houses and slides. There will also be a spook trail, magic show and a firework display to end each night.

Trick-or-Treat at the Children’s Museum of Phoenix

The Children’s Museum of Phoenix is hosting their very own trick-or-treat experience. Guests will be able to explore three floors of exhibits while collecting treats along the way.

There will be exciting activities such as the Fashion Fright Show and Seasonal Art Studio Project. Throughout the Halloween celebration, there will be plenty of photo opportunities for families to capture their exciting adventures at the museum.

With a paid museum admission, guests do not need to pay an additional fee to trick-or-treat. Costumes are highly encouraged to celebrate the Halloween fun.
