Things to do: QC Splash Pad Party July 12

The community is invited to join the Queen Creek Parks and Recreation team at the Mansel Carter Oasis Park Splash Pad for a night of cool splashing, music, food and fun for all ages. Admission is free and refreshments will be available for purchase through on-site food trucks.

The National Recreation and Park Association has celebrated July as the official Parks and Recreation Month since 1985. This year's theme — “Where You Belong” — celebrates the many ways parks and recreation foster a sense of belonging in the community by providing welcoming and inclusive programs, services for all ages and abilities, and safe, accessible spaces to build meaningful connections.

To cool off and celebrate Parks and Recreation Month this summer, the community is invited to join the Queen Creek Parks and Recreation team at the Mansel Carter Oasis Park Splash Pad for a night of splashing, music, food and fun for all ages from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, July 12.

The Mansel Carter Oasis Park Splash Pad is located in Queen Creek at 19535 E. Appleby Road. Admission is free and refreshments will be available for purchase through on-site food trucks.

In addition, you can get involved in the town fun by joining the Live, Play, Learn team, as Queen Creek is currently hiring for part-time recreation aides. Learn more and apply at QueenCreekAZ.gov/jobs.
