Queen Creek’s most tenured employee, Lori Lehman, retires

In 1995, the town’s population was approximately 3,100 and had a handful of employees. Today, the town’s population is 76,500 with more than 400 employees.

After 28 years with the Town of Queen Creek, Lori Lehman, human resources specialist, retired on Feb. 1.

Lehman joined the town in 1995 as a part-time office aide. Over the years, she held administrative and clerical positions with Finance and Human Resources. As a human resources specialist, Lehman was responsible for administrative and technical support for the Human Resources Department.

“We are so grateful to have such dedicated employees serving the organization and community,” said Queen Creek Mayor Julia Wheatley. “Lori has been at the heart of the town for 28 years – it is incredible to think about how Queen Creek has grown during that time. We wish Lori the absolute best in her retirement – she will be missed.”
