The Queen Creek dog park, Pocket Park for Pups, will be relocating to Founders’ Park at the end of 2025.

The current location, opened in 2014, was designed to be temporary and it was located where the municipal campus would expand in the future.

With the growth of the community and the Queen Creek Police Department, a new police headquarters is currently under design that will be located at the existing dog park. At the Feb. 5 meeting, the Town Council approved funding to design and relocate the dog park. The projects will align so that the current dog park will not close until the new location is open. The new location will replace the multipurpose field at Founders’ Park, with separate areas for large and small dogs, more seating, and more shade.

As the new dog park moves through the design process, additional information will be shared with the public.

Pocket Park for Pups is open 7 a.m. – 10 p.m. Wednesday through Monday and noon to 10 p.m. on Tuesdays.
