Dark Hall Coffee

Located in Phoenix's Coronado Historic District, Dark Hall Coffee is a plant-based coffee shop redefining vegan dining with its artisanal pastries, house-made syrups, and expertly brewed coffee. Co-owned by Liz and Juan Tavarez, this cozy cafe blends bold, dark aesthetics with a welcoming atmosphere, complete with lush patios that feel like a retreat in nature.

Dedicated to changing perceptions of vegan food, the shop emphasizes quality by sourcing local ingredients and making as much as possible from scratch, including their signature caramel syrup and custom cakes.

Brick Road Coffee

Brick Road Coffee is a haven for connection, community and inclusivity. Founded by Gabe Hagen and Jesse Shank, the cafe’s name and aesthetic are a thoughtful nod to “The Wizard of Oz” and a play on the phrase “Friend of Dorothy,” used by the LGBTQ+ community to identify other members of the community.

Known for its signature drinks, locally sourced pastries and unique events like queer book clubs and game nights, Brick Road Coffee offers a space where everyone can feel at home.

Provision Coffee

Blending modern design with natural beauty, Provision Coffee creates an oasis in the desert and urban landscape of Phoenix. The space incorporates unique and eco-friendly materials, such as Richlite, a paper-based substrate, and locally sourced mesquite wood. 

“What separates us from others is the sheer amount of intentionality and thought behind the design, offerings and service,” Daniel Suh, co-founder said. From their beautiful plant wall to their hand-crafted coffee drinks, cocktail and food options, Provision coffee provides a space for the community from breakfast to evening bites. 

Customer favorites include their Honey Lavender Latte, Breakfast Sandwich and Espresso Martini.

Remix Coffee

Located in downtown Phoenix, Remix Coffee offers a vintage vibe with local flair. Opened in May 2023 by Shawn Allard, this bold pink cafe stands out with its free-spirited aesthetic, community events and made-to-order menu. 

With local ingredients and produce, the take-out and walk-up window serves fresh coffee, bagels and sandwiches. Popular picks include the Dateland Latte and Bandit Sandwich.

Stemistry

Founded in 2022 by Dylan Capshaw, Stemistry blends premium coffee with floral artistry to create a unique and vibrant hub. With locations in Scottsdale and Phoenix, Stemistry offers curated experiences where guests can design custom bouquets at their Build Your Own Bouquet Bar and participate in floral workshops. 

A fan favorite is their Rose Latte. Topped with edible rose petals and infused with fresh rose syrup, it perfectly captures the essence of Stemistry. 

“Our coffee is high quality and creatively presented, and customers love the ability to leave with a fresh bouquet in hand,” Capshaw said. “It’s a combination you won't find anywhere else.”
