Phase II of Mansel Carter Oasis Park to open July 10

The new section of the park includes tennis courts, volleyball courts, pickleball courts, additional restrooms and parking, and passive green space. A pump track was also added earlier this year. The expansion completes the popular park, which originally opened in 2018, and includes a variety of amenities like a playground, splash pad, fishing lake, fitness zone, baseball fields and multipurpose fields.

The 13-acre Phase II expansion of Queen Creek's popular Mansel Carter Oasis Park will open with a ribbon cutting at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 10, followed by a free tennis clinic from 7:45 to 8:45 a.m.

Mansel Carter Oasis Park is located at 19535 E. Appleby Road.

The new section of the park includes tennis courts, volleyball courts, pickleball courts, additional restrooms and parking, and passive green space. A pump track was also added earlier this year.

The expansion, designed by J2 Design and built by Haydon, completes the popular park, which originally opened in 2018, and includes a variety of amenities like a playground, splash pad, fishing lake, fitness zone, baseball fields and multipurpose fields.

The town recently celebrated the opening of Frontier Family Park, a new 85-acre park located on Signal Butte Road, north of Queen Creek Road. The town’s Recreation and Aquatic Center, slated to open in 2025, will also be located at Frontier Family Park.
