Queen Creek Unified's Newell Barney Junior High School Robotics Team won the 2022 Arizona VRC Middle School State Championship Feb. 26 at Desert Ridge High School in Mesa.
The Queen Creek school now has two teams qualifying for The VEX Robotics World Championships 2022 in Dallas coming up in May, where they will compete again for another championship. This event will qualify seven spots in excellence and design for the student engineers.
