New 85144 introduced for areas of San Tan Valley/Queen Creek

There are currently 280 Queen Creek addresses in the newly-formed ZIP code, including the Goldmine Estates subdivision, Earnhardt Queen Creek and U-Haul Moving & Storage. The new ZIP code will take effect July 1.

The U.S. Postal Service recently announced a new ZIP code coming to the San Tan Valley and Queen Creek area. The new 85144 ZIP code will encompass the area south of Empire Boulevard, west of Gary Road and north of Arizona Farms Road.

There are currently 280 Queen Creek addresses in the newly-formed ZIP code, including the Goldmine Estates subdivision, Earnhardt Queen Creek and U-Haul Moving & Storage.

The new ZIP code will take effect July 1.

The Town of Queen Creek says it does not have jurisdiction over the postal service and does not have the ability to assign or change ZIP codes or place names. They said individuals who live within the incorporated boundaries of the Town of Queen Creek will still receive town services, regardless of ZIP code. The new ZIP code will not impact local elections. Individuals who live within the incorporated boundaries of the town will still receive ballots for municipal elections, regardless of their ZIP code, according to town officials.

While there are households located within the Queen Creek Water and Queen Creek Fire District whose addresses will change ZIP codes, the modification will have no impact on the continuation of services provided by these entities, according to town officials.

The Town of Queen Creek offers the “Do I Live in QC” map for individuals to determine if their address is within the incorporated town boundaries. The map also indicates the service areas for Queen Creek Water and the Queen Creek Fire District. Use the interactive map by visiting queencreekaz.gov/DoILiveinQC.
