Maricopa County households experiencing financial hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic may be eligible for Emergency Rental Assistance (ERA) through the Human Services Department’s Community Services Division.
For the months of April 2020 – December 2021, qualified households can receive up to 15 months of payments for the following:
- Rental assistance
- Utility assistance for electric, gas, water, sewer, and/or trash
Payments can be made for past due, owed, and/or future rental and utility bills, including water. To apply online, visit hsdclientportal.
