Cowboy Christmas Poetry Gathering Dec. 7
The Wickenburg Chamber of Commerce invites Valley residents to the Cowboy Christmas Poetry Gathering, an award-winning heritage event, on Saturday, Dec. 7 at the historic Saguaro Theater in Wickenburg. This is the event’s 33rd anniversary.
The Cowboy Christmas Poetry Gathering returns with six well-known musicians, storytellers and poets. The cowboy poets include Sally Bates, Matt Robertson, Chris Isaacs, Trinity Seely, Amy Hale and Gail Steiger, with hosts Bobbi Jeen and Jim Olson.
Tickets are available at the Wickenburg Chamber Office/Visitor Center, located at 216 N. Frontier Street for $40. Doors will open to the public at 6:15 p.m. and a concession stand will be available as well as an entertainers’ merchandise table with books and CDs. Welcome remarks begin at 6:55 p.m.

Wickenburg Annual Christmas Parade of Lights Dec. 13
If you’re looking for the perfect small-town Christmas parade, look no further than the Annual Christmas Parade of Lights in Wickenburg.
During the parade, there will be dozens of lighted floats and a meet and greet with Santa afterward. The parade starts at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 13. Visit the town’s website for the official parade route. Santa will be located in front of the train on Frontier Street. Hot cocoa will be provided by Maverick.
