Desert Hills Presbyterian Church to host seminar on dementia Oct. 8

The seminar will provide education about the different types of dementia, its signs and stages, and how it differs from normal memory aging.

On Tuesday, October 8 from 10-11:30 a.m., Desert Hills Presbyterian Church (DHPC) will host an important seminar about dementia.

Presented by Walking Beside Ministry and led by Pastor Karen Stewart, a Dementia Outreach Educator at Hospice of the Valley’s Dementia Care and Education Campus, the seminar will provide education about the different types of dementia, its signs and stages, and how it differs from normal memory aging.

The seminar will take place in the DHPC Fellowship Center, located at 34605 N. Tom Darlington Road in Scottsdale.
