Crismon High School, Queen Creek Unified School District's newest high school opening in July, announced its mascot, the Crismon Rattlers.
"We want to thank the community for helping us choose our mascot," said Crismon Principal Elyse Torbert. "The rattlers are native to Arizona, and along with the name Crismon, represent our strong ties to this community and its history."
Crismon High School is currently under construction on a master-planned campus of more than 76 acres. It will feature technology-rich, collaborative learning spaces as well as comprehensive academics including AP and dual enrollment courses, athletics and arts programs. It will feature career path academies dedicated to STEM, Health Sciences, Business and Leadership, and Design and Construction.
