It is with great sadness to share that Dr. Lee Chatham, aka "Doc," passed away on the morning of Oct. 24.
His family would like to invite all to the following services:
- Nov. 4, 6 p.m. viewing at San Tan Funeral Home, 21809 S. Ellsworth Road in Queen Creek.
- Nov. 5, 11 a.m. Celebration of Life at Heart Cry Church, 9339 Hunt Highway in Queen Creek, followed by burial at 1:30 p.m. at Green Acres Cementary in Scottsdale.
"His family welcomes all to come and looks forward to meeting and seeing everyone," Cindi DeWine said on her Facebook page.
Lori Morrello added in an email: "Such a nice man and great veterinarian … he will never be forgotten and he will always be missed … RIP Doc."

Queen Creek Sun Times found the following information on Dr. Chatham:
Dr. Lee Chatham, or “Doc” as his friends and patients affectionately refer to him, has been practicing as an equine veterinarian since 1959. While a native of Arizona, he left his home in Scottsdale to attend Oklahoma State University Veterinarian School. Doc returned to his homes state of Arizona in 2000 and has been practicing in the Gilbert and Queen Creek area ever since.
