Before the Queen Creek Police Department and Queen Creek Fire and Medical Department square off in the Battle of the Badge at next weekend's Founders' Day event, they are teaming up for the 9/11 National Day of Service and Remembrance.
Donate to the food drive at town buildings to support the United Food Bank and also join them and the Duane Ellsworth American Legion Post 129 for a Day of Remembrance Ceremony on Sunday, Sept. 10, starting at 3 p.m. at the police department, 20727 E. Civic Parkway.
