QCPD: Community notification of Level 3 sex offender residing in Queen Creek

Offenders are categorized into three levels: Level One (low risk to the community), Level Two (intermediate risk to the community), and Level Three (high risk to the community).

The individual named in this notification, Gregg Griffo, 63, has been convicted of attempted sexual assault. The Queen Creek Police Department (QCPD) has been informed that Griffo is residing at northeast Riggs and Rittenhouse roads in Queen Creek. He is described as a male, white, 5 feet, 10 inches tall, 160 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

On July 12, 2005, Griffo was convicted of attempted sexual assault (ARS 13-1406). The victim was not known to him. An Arizona Risk Assessment was completed by QCPD. Griffo was determined to be a Level 3 risk to the community.

In accordance with the Arizona State Law, QCPD has elected to disseminate that the listed individual has established residence in the Town of Queen Creek. This information is made available for the purpose of notifying the public, in compliance with Arizona State Law.
