QCPD celebrates first sergeant promotion, welcomes new officer

Queen Creek police officers officially hit the streets on Jan. 11 at midnight. All QCPD officers have undergone extensive training, with a focus on decision making, partnerships and community collaboration.

On April 25, the Queen Creek Police Department (QCPD) celebrated the first promotion of a police officer to sergeant. Michael Jost came to the department from Marana with 15 years of service and is now Sgt. Jost.

The ceremony also included the swearing-in of Officer Jessica Arrubla, who joined the department after 13 years as an officer with New York Police Department.
