The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) recently hosted the Cadet/Explorer 2021 Competition.
The event tested the skills and abilities of MCSO cadets in a variety of law enforcement scenarios. The competition consisted of eight teams taking part in eight events including negotiations, police tactics, crime scene, first aid, critical thinking and more. All eight teams received medals for their competitive skills, but one team took the overall trophy and that was the Chandler Police Department cadets.
Congratulations to all teams who participated. Each team demonstrated exceptional effort and courage and MCSO officials said they are confident all the cadets will make fine law enforcement professionals one day.
