Timothy (Tim) W. Norman passed away unexpectedly on September 16, 2024 while at home with family. Tim was a warrior who battled and beat cancer multiple times for years. The cancer battle was still ongoing at the time of Tim’s passing. Tim is the only son of Frank Norman and June (White) Norman.

After graduating from Sterling, Illinois High School Tim became employed by National Manufacturing Company. While working at National Tim became good friends with Dave Beck. Both packed up and moved from Sterling to Mesa, Arizona in 1996 where they enjoyed their lives together in the desert. After nearly 40 years together, Tim’s husband Dave passed away unexpectedly in 2021. Tim married Ismael (Mike) Perez in 2022. Mike has been tremendous support for his husband as Tim continued his battle with cancer.

Tim spent more than a decade with Albertson’s Grocery as a Store Administrator in the Mesa area. Lifelong friendships were created from Tim’s time at Albertson’s. Tim’s kind and loving nature drew people toward him. Tim is known for being a positive and kind person who people enjoyed being with.

Tim is survived by his husband, Ismael (Mike) Perez, his mother June Norman, his aunt Judy (White) Ostrander, 3 nephews, Anthony, Daniel and Michael, 5 great nieces and great nephews, and 6 fur babies.

Tim is preceded in death by his first husband, Dave, sister Kimberly Norman, and father Frank Norman and all grandparents.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Tim at the Colby Clubhouse, 5770 E Colby St., Mesa, AZ 85205. The celebration will take place on September 26, 2024 from 4-6 p.m.

Funeral arrangements were handled by Mountain View Funeral Home and Cemetery.
