Ron Schriver was larger than life, always looking for new adventures, he was a wonderful, strong father, loving caring husband, loyal friend and a very PROUD Marine.
Ron captured your attention when he came into the room, he loved to tell stories and was quite the prankster.
Ron lived by the Marine Corp creed “Semper Fidelis” Latin for “Always Faithful”, Honor, Courage, and Commitment. He loved to talk to anyone and everyone about the Marine Corp years it truly was his happy place.
Ron loved his adventures with his wife Karen, traveling, get-togethers with family and friends, shopping and just laying low in the house enjoying each others company.
Visits from his two daughters always lead to laughter and stories, keeping the time precious and dear. They truly loved their “Poppy”.

Once a Marine, Always a Marine
Loving and kind in all his ways,
Upright and Just to the end of his days.
Sincere and true in his heart and mind,
A beautiful memory he left behind
He had a nature you could not help loving,
A heart that was purer than gold:
And to those who knew him and loved him,
His memory will never grow cold.
