Lydia Aquino, age 81, loving mother and loyal wife, passed away on the early hours of 21st of May, 2024 after a long battle with dementia. Lydia was born on 1942 in Pangasinan, Philippines. She grew up surrounded by her large family, she had 8 other siblings and a lot of extended family.
Lydia moved to Baguio City in 1969 with her husband and started a family there. She worked at the Department of Education as an Administrator then retired after 35 years.
After retirement, she would travel back and forth to America and the Philippines. She loved cooking, gardening, sewing and spending time with family.
Lydia will be remembered as a hardworking, resilient and altruistic wife and mother. She had a quiet strength in her. She never complained and always looked to a better future.
Lydia is survived by her husband Bernabe, daughters Cristina, Mayflor and Liberty, son Albert and granddaughter Belle.
