Archie S. Hawes Jr., 84 of Mesa, Arizona passed away September 17, 2022, at Chandler Regional surrounded by his loved ones. Archie touched so many lives, and gave so much to others. He was born in Virginia and the oldest of seven siblings. In his younger years he was a postal worker, volunteer firefighter and paramedic in Chantilly, Virginia.
After he retired, he became an avid tennis player and loved serving the Lord. Archie will be lovingly remembered by his companion Mary Rhyne along with a son and four daughters, Gary, Diana, Nita, Cathy and Darlene. He is also survived by 10 precious grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. We will love and cherish all the memories and miss your short shorts.
