Queen Creek High School (QCHS) is hosting a college fair on Tuesday, Oct. 17 with more than 35 different colleges, universities, trade schools and military recruiters visiting on campus. Students from QCHS, Eastmark High and Crismon High are invited to this district-wide event tonight.
College and career advisors encourage all high school students to attend the fair as they say it will help students who are still deciding on their post-graduation plans to gain insight on what their future may hold.
“This is a great way for students to learn directly from college admission representatives how they can get accepted, stand out among other applicants, and what scholarships are offered,” said QCHS College and Career Advisor Amber Crilley. “Students should come with questions about college and an open mind to see what colleges and trades interest them.”
The fair will include in-state and out-of-state universities, as well as local trade schools, East Valley Institute of Technology, Penrose Academy, Red Rock Flight School, and more.
The QCHS college fair will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. tonight, Oct. 17, at Queen Creek High School, 22149 E. Ocotillo Road. Students with questions about the event should email their schools' college and career counselors for more information.
