In light of the devastating impact felt by the loss of Preston Lord, a candlelight vigil will be held in the Combs High School courtyard from 6 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 9 for students, families and community members to gather and honor Preston’s memory.
The J.O. Combs Unified School District recognizes that this tragedy has generated a large amount of interest far beyond our local students and families. We respectfully ask that this vigil serve as a space for the collective Combs community as they grieve this profound loss.
The Combs community continues to hold the Lord family and those dearest to them in our thoughts.
Friends, classmates and community members are invited to gather in support as they honor the life of Preston. Brief remarks will be shared by those close to Preston, followed by a candlelight and luminary vigil led by Combs High School Student Council.
Combs High School is located in San Tan Valley at 2505 E. Germann Road.
