Waste Connections, the town's trash and recycling provider, is updating its service routes and enhancing its scheduling to ensure that if you sign up for bulk trash collection, you will receive that service, according to town officials.

Changes are happening within the bulk trash collection service provided by the Town of Queen Creek.

Waste Connections, the town's trash and recycling provider, is updating its service routes and enhancing its scheduling to ensure that if you sign up for bulk trash collection, you will receive that service, according to town officials.

Things you can do to help ensure timely service and reduce delays:

  • Allow up to 48 hours before filling out a missed bulk pick-up form.
  • Only put out 6 cubic yards worth of bulk (that’s approximately six dishwashers in size).
  • Remember the 3Bs of bulk; Bagged, Bundled and Boxed. All bulk trash items need to be properly prepared. Items that can cause spills onto the roadway or sidewalk will not be picked up.
  • Make sure all bulk trash is placed curbside by 6 a.m.
  • Don’t include non-acceptable items such as construction materials, hazardous materials, refrigerators, etc.
  • Due to the holiday, residents in Zone 1 must request a bulk-pick up online by noon on Wednesday, Dec. 29 for a January pickup. There will be no impact to registration for Zones 2-4.
