Town of Queen Creek closed Sept. 2 for Labor Day

Town of Queen Creek offices and Recreation Annex will be closed Sept. 2 to honor Labor Day.

On Monday, Sept. 2, the Town of Queen Creek offices and Recreation Annex will be closed to honor Labor Day. This closure will not affect public safety or emergency services. For any water, sewer, or streets-related emergency during the closure, residents can contact 480-358-3131.

The holiday will not affect trash and recycling services. Residents in Zone 1 must place their carts out by 6 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 2, for service. To schedule bulk trash services, visit QueenCreekAZ.gov/Trash.

For scheduled bulk pick-up, items must be placed curbside by 6 a.m. on the day of service. Bulk collection is serviced between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m, although pick-up times may vary. If your scheduled bulk items are not collected by 6 p.m., leave them curbside and allow 48 hours to pass before going online to complete a missed pick-up request.

The town of Queen Creek’s regular business hours are from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Thursday. The town is closed Friday through Sunday. For any residents needing to access town services, visit the town’s official website at QueenCreekAZ.gov.

Regular business hours for the Recreation Annex are 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday. The Recreation Annex, located at 21802 S. Ellsworth Road, is closed Saturday and Sunday.
