This July, celebrate 'Where You Belong' in Queen Creek

Highlighting the impacts of parks and recreation in the Town of Queen Creek during Park and Recreation Month with three big events coming up next week.

In honor of Park and Recreation Month, the National Recreation and Park Association is highlighting all of the ways communities are stronger, more vibrant and more resilient because of parks and recreation.

This year's theme — “Where You Belong” — celebrates the many ways parks and recreation foster a sense of belonging in the community by providing welcoming and inclusive programs, services for all ages and abilities, and safe, accessible spaces to build meaningful connections.

The Town of Queen Creek offers award-winning parks, an extensive trail system with the Queen Creek and Sonoqui washes and the Trails at Horseshoe Park, along with a variety of family friendly recreation classes and opportunities.
