Shape Up Us has partnered with Munchkin Programs, USA Pickleball, The McDowell Mountain Ranch Community Association, and members of the McDowell Mountain Ranch Pickleball Club to bring a new event to life on Nov. 2.
The family fun community event will feature the world's largest pickleball lesson and Ninja Warrior full course. The event takes place Saturday, Nov. 2 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at McDowell Mountain Ranch, located at 10607 E. Paradise Lane in Scottsdale. It is free for all ages.
Attendees will enjoy a variety of activities including:
• World’s largest pickleball lesson
• Ninja Nation's live obstacle course
• Rock climbing wall
• Inflatables (obstacle course and bounce house)
• Face painting and balloon twisting
• Live DJ and entertainment
• Princesses and superheroes
• Fire truck display
• Bubble mania
• Mini golf
• More than 60 booths
Shape Up Us, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is dedicated to building a healthier future for children, families, and the community, according to the organization.
All donations from this event will sponsor a teacher or school to receive The Hip Hop Healthy Program for Children Curriculum, the first world-class online digital social-emotional “Whole Child” wellness curriculum for K-6th grades, impacting education, health, and financial wellness. Their mission is to integrate a culture of health into schools' e-learning platforms and directly into homes.
