Growing up in the Valley, Courtney Enos couldn’t wait to leave the desert behind. But now, as a mom of four raising her own family, she’s fallen in love with the state all over again.
“The natural beauty and endless opportunities for family adventures has transformed my perspective,” Enos said. “I can’t imagine calling anywhere else home.”
While seeking to find activities to keep her kids entertained, she started sharing her experiences. In January of 2023, Enos launched “The AZ Moms,” an online platform dedicated to sharing the best of Arizona for families. From hidden gems to free community events, fun restaurants and local attractions, Enos has created a thriving online space for families to find new things to do.
“What began as a personal pursuit quickly evolved into a passion for connecting with other families and highlighting Arizona’s many treasures,” Enos said. “I’ve reached families who have moved to Arizona from other states and it’s been incredibly rewarding to help them uncover the fun and adventure that this state offers.”
The most fulfilling part for Enos is creating content with her kids by her side. “Together we’ve had so many fun, new adventures and it has pushed us out of our normal routines,” Enos said. “It motivates us to spend more time exploring!”
Through her account she’s been able to connect with local business owners and families across the state. Her hope is to continue growing “The AZ Moms,” and be a go-to resource for parents struggling to find new things to do.
“I put so much time and thought into every post, striving to inspire families to embrace all that Arizona has to offer from its scenic beauty to its thriving local culture,” Enos said. “Arizona is more than just where I live. It’s the place I love to call home and I’m thrilled to share its wonders with others.”
