Salvation Army recognizes MCSO chaplains

This award recognizes those who serve and improve the lives of MCSO inmates by performing work involved in spiritual welfare and religious guidance. They have worked to ensure that all inmates have the opportunity to practice their religion while in custody.

Maricopa County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) Chaplain Debbie Herrera was recognized this year by the Salvation Army, alongside MCSO Chaplain of 2021, Tom Ford. They were each awarded "Chaplain of the Year."
