Remodeled Queen Creek Performing Arts Center re-opens

For its 20th anniversary, the performing arts center was remodeled to accommodate a new generation of performers and patrons. The remodel included updating the appearance of the auditorium, replacing sound panels and installing new house seats.

The Queen Creek Performing Arts Center (QCPAC) is opening its doors following the completion of a renovation project for its 20-year anniversary.

Queen Creek Unified School District (QCUSD) first opened the QCPAC in 2003, and since then it has hosted concerts, performing arts and cultural events for the community.

For its 20th anniversary, the performing arts center was remodeled to accommodate a new generation of performers and patrons. The remodel included updating the appearance of the auditorium, replacing sound panels and installing new house seats.

Earlier this month, a VIP grand reveal was hosted at the performing arts center for stakeholders, including representatives from the Town of Queen Creek, the Queen Creek Cultural Foundation and the QCUSD school board.

“For 20 years, this center has been able to impact students, community members and inspire a love of the arts,” said QCPAC Director Molly Jacobs. “We are so thankful for the generosity and support of the Gail and Pam Barney Foundation, QCUSD, the Town of Queen Creek and the Queen Creek Cultural Foundation for the continued partnership in keeping the arts soaring in our community.”

The QCPAC is located on the campus of Queen Creek High School, at 22149 E. Ocotillo Road. For tickets to their upcoming shows or to learn more, visit qcpac.com.
