Queen Creek’s downtown twinkles for the holidays with 'Lights on Ellsworth'

“We know our downtown is bustling with activity throughout the month of December as people are shopping for gifts, dining out with friends and enjoying our beautiful Arizona weather,” said Queen Creek Mayor-elect Julia Wheatley. “As a Town Council, we wanted to really provide that sense of place in our downtown by enhancing our holiday décor. As Queen Creek continues to grow, we are embracing opportunities to maintain and enhance that community feel.”

From life-size candy canes to an Instagram-friendly set of QC cowboy boots, Queen Creek’s downtown is twinkling this holiday season.

Ellsworth Road in the downtown core is lined with lighted trees, festive wreaths and opportunities for unique photos.

The Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce is calling it "Lights on Ellsworth" and said the new holiday light displays are indeed a great opportunity to "bring the family and take a stroll, stop and grab a photo in front of our very own Queen Creek Cowboy Boots" display in front of the chamber offices.

As residents and visitors are traveling to downtown, they are encouraged to enjoy the holiday décor and take photos at the 23-foot Christmas tree, an oversized menorah and the various other decorations along the way. Participants are invited to tag @VisitQueenCreekAZ on Facebook and Instagram to share their memories.
