Queen Creek student receives award at Eastern Arizona College’s annual scholarship banquet

The event honored students who have shown dedication in their studies and leadership in their communities with scholarships awarded to support their continued education.

Eastern Arizona College (EAC) celebrated the academic achievements of 95 outstanding students at the 40th Annual Scholarship Banquet, held earlier this semester. 

The event honored students who have shown dedication in their studies and leadership in their communities with scholarships awarded to support their continued education.

Among this year’s honorees is Gavin Crandall of Queen Creek, son of Cory and Sjana Crandall, was awarded the Debra Mullenaux Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship was created as a tribute to the life and memory of Debra Mullenaux to help students gain an education who have demonstrated lives of goodness and integrity. It is awarded to a married, full-time student with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
